
Preschool Special Education
(ages 3-5)
In New York State, Preschool Special Education Programs are available for children ages 3-5 who have a disability or developmental delay in one or more areas of development. Children receive specially designed instruction, CPSE oversees the Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Under the administration of NYSED, PSE is administered by local school districts and funded by New York State and counties, so that there is no cost to families.

Offers parent-led support services and resources to families with children from birth to 2 years old who have disabilities or special healthcare needs while helping them build the confidence and advocacy skills needed to navigate the early years of their child's development.
